The West is bending over backwards trying to appease Muslims, primarily moderate Muslims, of course, by not making it appear the war on terror is another crusade by the "Christian" West against the Islamic world. That may not be a bad strategy over all but carried to the extreme that it seems to be today may not be in the best interest of the West. We can't expect decadent, post-Christian, socialist Europe to declare the exclusivity of Christ and Christianity over all other religions but America, the last hope of Western civilization, should carry the mantle of Christianity. We should not be compromising our Western civilization's foundation, Christianity, by adhering to fascistic Islamic laws as we did in Desert Storm in 1991. We removed all symbols of the cross of Christ when our troops were massing for the attack against Sadam in Saudi Arabia. To this day our soldiers at Guantanamo wear white gloves when handling the Quran to give to the Muslim prisoners. No one dares criticize the religion of Mohammed and there seems to be a double standard in the West in which Islam is not subject to the criticism and restrictions that other religions, especially Christianity, are subject to (Hamtrammack, Michigan, for example, where loud speakers call "the faithful" to prayers).
I believe God would honor the Christianized West in our war against Islamic terror if the West developed a backbone. But even if one doesn't believe in God I believe a policy change of this order would strengthen the West's moral fibre and courage and send a message to Islamic terrorists throughout the world. Let's stand up for our faith, let's declare Christ as The way, The truth and The life, through which no man can come unto the Father except by Him (Jesus). I think we must shelve the human wisdom which says that all religions lead to God. Jesus declared Himself to be the ONLY way to God. All other religions lead to the god of this world, including Islam.
Let's declare it on the rooftops. We can't go wrong. All the doomsayers be damned, let's develop a backbone and turn the tide on the war against Islamic terror!
